Sorter & Loader Opportunities
Our Sort hubs move at an incredible pace. Parcels of all shapes and sizes come in and out every day, and it’s the job of our Sorters & Loader teams made up of hard working Warehouse Operatives and Assistants to deliver our customers’ promises, and make sure they get exactly where they need to be.
As every parcel has the potential to make someone’s day, it’s a role with real responsibility. That said, you don’t need to have been a Sorter & Loader before. We can provide training and a friendly, experienced buddy to quickly show you the ropes – making this the perfect job if you’re looking for variety that will keep you on your toes.
The Role
As a big part of our team, you’ll sort, scan and distribute all sorts of parcels – making sure each one travels safely through our depot and is loaded onto the trailers that travel to our regional Service Centres.
Skills & Experience
You’ll need a good command of written English to do basic paperwork, and the great verbal skills needed to work well with your team. Ideally you’ll have experience of forklifts, sort and transport operations and health and safety regulations, but they aren’t vital.
Passion & Personality
We look for Sorters & Loaders who are friendly, helpful and fast learners, with an eye for detail. Always with a smile on your face, you’ll also be able to lift heavy parcels and feel as comfortable working alone as you do in a close-knit team.
